Dave, a Guidewire employee, told us that he likes Foster City’s great food choices (and the nice weather!) while he enjoys a cherry shake from Five Guys Burgers and Fries at the Metro Center Shopping Center. What do you love about #FosterCity?  #HometownPride #lunchtime

Carmel and George:
Carmel and George are the owners of local favorite lunch spot, Café Savini. George and Carmel told us that they dreamed of living in Foster City, and although they settled in a neighboring city, they love to spend most of their day in their Café in Foster City, enjoying other local eateries or taking walks on the waterfront when they aren’t serving fresh food to the community. They have been here for 8 years and plan to stay here for years to come. #HometownPride #FosterCity #CafeSavini #shoplocal

Dimitri:
Dimitrios, owner of family-run @penelopescoffeeandtea told us “Foster City is one of the best towns in California, it has the right [leadership], the right people, people who care about families. I moved here 36 years to raise my kids in the right place. I love Foster City and I hope to never leave here.” He loves to run his business, and enjoys sports in Sea Cloud Park. She is involved with the local schools, and the AYSO. She tells us “When I hear Hometown Pride, I feel like I can tell somebody that Foster City is a place where they will meet good people, their children will be safe.” Tell us your #HometownPride at the link in the bio! #parents #AYSO #greatschools #kidfriendly

We met Ruben, Adis, Bikram and Plagal at the Foster City landmark, the gazebo in Leo J. Ryan Park. They told us they come here a few times a week because they find the park and water peaceful and chill. Tell us why you visit #FosterCity. #HometownPride #LJRPark #Gazebo #chill #peaceful #views

Bonnie and Milan:
Bonnie and Milan have lived in a home on the water in #FosterCity since 1989. Bonnie tells us  “I love the waterways, I love the social life that our boats give us, and the Friday night concerts, and just all of the wonderful people we’ve met on the water.” They both agree, “it is like a small town, and it’s an outdoorsy, healthy town. It’s a nice community, you don’t know everybody, but everybody is quite friendly. It’s a good place to be.”  #Hometown Pride #waterways #levee #boats #trails #outdoors #fridaynight #concerts #neighbors

Foster City is small town without the isolation! - I love that Foster City is close-knit and safe, while also boasting a great location in the busy Bay Area metropolis.
